About Me
Welcome!
My name is Eve Ball, I am a 23 year old artist, and within a couple of months of graduating from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design with a Bachelor’s in 3D Animation. I have been attending RMCAD since 2019 after transferring from the University of Northern Colorado and changing majors from Pre-Med to Fine Arts. Art has always been a big part of my life, and I always knew I could do something with it, I just never knew how. I grew up hearing the phrase, “Starving Artist” and therefore never thought that it was something I could make a successful career out of. However after I got about a year into pre-med, I realized that while I enjoyed parts of it, I didn’t enjoy all of it, and I decided that I didn’t want to spend my entire career doing something I only partially enjoyed. So I looked further into my other interests and passions and learned that I actually could make a career out of art, and could create and do things I truly enjoyed for a living.
Now while UNC was an ideal school for pre-med students, they, unfortunately, didn’t have the best art programs. Having heard wonderful things about RMCAD I looked into it and decided to take the leap and transfer. Ever since I have loved my courses and learned many new and amazing things and how to use numerous different programs. During the pursuit of my degree, I have faced some mental and physical health issues. While these issues put me back a bit at times and required some extra breaks, I’ve managed to push through them and can now see the light at the end of the tunnel. I am expected to graduate in February 2023 and have never been more excited to start a new chapter of my life.
Please join me as I pursue a career in character creation and development, and aspire to work on many projects that I know will only grow my love for the arts. My dream is to help create characters for films, shows, and video games and bring to life characters that will bring joy to people’s lives. I know I can do it, and I’m only dipping my toes in the water right now.
